SODA is a London-based design studio creating spaces that connect people, culture and place. Founded by Laura Sanjuan and Russell Potter in 2012, the practice works across architecture, interiors and wider spatial experiences. Regardless of scale or sector, every project begins with a simple belief: the spaces we inhabit shape the way we feel, interact and remember.

We talk about space rather than architecture. Space is more than a building; it is atmosphere, movement, identity and memory. It has the ability to bring people together, adapt over time and reveal opportunities where others see constraints. Whether working with a listed building, an industrial warehouse or a complex urban site, the design process starts by understanding what exists before uncovering its future potential.

Based in Soho, London, our studio is shaped by one of the city's most creative and culturally rich neighbourhoods. The layered history, mixed uses and constant evolution of Soho continue to influence the way we think about cities and the experiences they create. This understanding extends beyond London, informing our projects across the UK and internationally.
